You can delete your dibs account and the data tied to it any time. Two ways to do it.
In the app
- Open dibs and go to Profile.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
That's it. It takes effect immediately.
By email
No phone, can't sign in, or just prefer it in writing: email justin.m.urena@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile: name, handle, email, payment handles.
- Your taste data, ratings, saved places, tags, and vibes.
- Your visit history and photos you uploaded.
- Your push tokens and notification settings.
What can stick around
- Content that belongs to a shared session, like items in a group's split, stays for the rest of the group, without your name attached.
- Backups clear on a short cycle after deletion.
- Aggregated analytics that never identified you in the first place.
